Panthers notch 7 wins, take Ingram tourney title
The Panther basketball team won the Ingram High School Tournament Saturday, Dec. 14. They went 6-0 in the tournament beating teams including Comfort, Our Lady of the Hills, Fredericksburg Heritage Christian, Ingram, Harper and Comfort again in the championship. The varsity Panther basketball team won the Ingram tournament Saturday, Dec. 14, with a 65-55 win against the Comfort Bobcats in the championship game. Blanco played Comfort twice and won both times, in addition to wins over Our Lady of the Hills, Fredericksburg Heritage Christian, Ingram and Harper. The Panthers currently hold an 11-4 record. In the tournament final, Tristan Schlinke was the high scorer for Blanco with 19 points.
