Lady Panthers win Medina tournament
The Lady Panther basketball team won the Medina Athletic Booster Club Tournament Saturday, Dec. 14. BHS defeated teams from Brackettville, D’hanis and the Geneva School of Boerne. The Lady Panthers put a bow on their week as they finished with a 39-28 win over the Geneva School of Boerne in the championship game of the Medina Athletic Booster Club Tournament Saturday, Dec. 14. Blanco defeated Brackettville, 67-17, and D’hanis, 61-22, Friday, Dec. 13, to go 4-0 on the week. The championship game against Boerne Geneva was a rematch of Blanco’s season opener, but the result was much better than the 33-19 loss on Nov.
