Spotty weather can’t stop Christmas spirit
The choir led the crowd in carols at the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony held Friday at the Old Blanco Courthouse. Crowds braved the cooler weather for the ceremony, which was moved indoors.

On Friday night, the weather might not have been obliging, but that did not stop dyed-in-the-wool Christmas lovers in Blanco from making it to the courthouse lighting. Everything was simply moved indoors to the upper floor of the Old Blanco Courthouse. The Old Courthouse is a beautiful and historic part of Blanco; so, it is always a treat to have any excuse to go in for a visit.
