Panthers’ comeback falls short
The Panther defense pounces on the ball carrier in the game against the Comfort Bobcats Friday, Oct. 18. The defense gave up just three points over the final three quarters.

District rival Comfort showed up Friday, Oct. 18 to take on the Blanco Panthers in a battle for league bragging rights. It was all Bobcats early as they jumped out to a 21-0 first quarter lead. Blanco battled back and a late comeback was just short as the Bobcats held on for a 24-21 win over the Panthers. The captains for Blanco were Walton Daves, Marshal Symons, Brandt Wagner and Josh Hogan.
