State rep talks education, pipelines at town hall

State representative Erin Zwiener wasn’t happy with how House Bill 3 impacted school districts in Blanco County. The first-term Democrat, who represents Blanco and Hays counties in the state legislature, spoke to about 30 people at a town hall last Wednesday at the Johnson City Library. She said the bill touted as “the most significant reform of public education funding in a generation” had some good things, but added that significant changes will have to be made in the near future. ...
