Reward offered in Blanco County poaching incident
A reward of up to $6,500 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction in a poaching incident that happened late last week in Blanco County.

Game wardens are searching for information in a poaching incident last week, and a hefty reward is being offered to help them solve the case.

Information is being sought for a poaching incident on RR 1320 outside Johnson City. Game wardens believe the incident happened late Thursday evening, Sept. 19, or early Friday morning, Sept. 20. A large chocolate fallow buck was shot from the roadway, according to the game wardens.

Operation Game Thief is offering a reward of up to $1,000, in addition to a private reward of $5,500, for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the illegal act. Call Operation Game Thief, at 1-800-792-GAME (4263) with any information.
