Sedgwick Bryant “Bry” Loyd, II
(1950-2019)

Sedgwick Bryant “Bry” Loyd, II, of Blanco, Texas, passed away July 11, 2019 in San Antonio, Tx.

He was born Feb. 18, 1950 in Terre Haute, Indiana where he graduated from Wiley High School and went on to get his college degree in Fish and Wildlife Science at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, graduating in the Class of ‘72.

Bry was a member of the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets, was on the Fish Drill Team, a member of the Ross Volunteers and served on Corps Staff his senior year.

After leaving college he had a short career with Purina, but soon found his life-long career with A.L. Williams, later known as Primerica Financial Services and was successful in both USA and Canada.

He had a passion for the outdoors and loved Fly Fishing, Longbow Hunting and Golfing.

Bry was predeceased by his parents, Sedgwick B and Pearl Loyd.

He is survived by his wife Lola, son Bryant Loyd of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, stepdaughter Shannon (Curtis) Cayer stepson Ryan and their children.

He is also survived by brothers, Kim (Susan) Loyd of Fallston, Maryland, Chris (Teresa) Loyd of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Tracy (Michelle) Loyd of Wichita, Kansas, along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Texas A&M Class of ‘72 Fifty Year Reunion Gift, c/o Assn. Of Former Students; or Kindred Hospice, San Antonio, Texas.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. July 27, 2019, at St. Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church, 218 Pittsburg St., Blanco, Texas, followed by a reception at Old 300 BBQ, 318 4th St., Blanco, Tx 78606.
