A 3.2-acre tract that was recently found to be disconnected from the Blanco State Park is under consideration for sale by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) was scheduled to consider selling a 3.2-acre tract that a recent boundary survey determined was disconnected from the rest of the Blanco State Park. The park was acquired from local ranchers in the 1930s. It services more than 100,000 visitors annually. Staff had recommended that the department sell the land, and it was to be approved at the Aug.
