Hill Country Memorial August Diabetes Education Classes
For those diagnosed with diabetes, the “Self-Care Management of Diabetes” seminar will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 14 from 9 a.m.-noon. Participants will learn about self-care behaviors including exercise, daily glucose monitoring, and how to modify care during illness. For individuals and family members interested in learning about risk factors and prevention strategies for pre-diabetes and diabetes, a free “What Is Pre-Diabetes?” class will be taught on Thursday, Aug.
