Night Sky Friendly Business Presentations
On Friday, July 26, the Blanco Chamber of Commerce made the first presentation of its revitalized “Night Sky-Friendly Business Recognition Program.” The program recognizes businesses and organizations with outdoor lighting that neither shines upwards to pollute the night sky nor shines off property to cause annoying glare. Certificates were presented to Liz-on-the-Square and the Old Blanco County Courthouse Preservation Society (OBCCPS).
