Gubernatorial Candidate Lupe Valdez to Visit Blanco
Lupe Valdez, Democratic nominee for Texas Governor, will be at the Old County Courthouse in Blanco for a Town Hall and fundraiser from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 2. Valdez has served as a U.S. Army Captain, a federal agent and as the Sheriff of Dallas County. When asked why she’s running for governor, she said, “Like so many Texans, I have lived a life where my day starts before the sun rises.
