Child abuse is one of the greatest yet most preventable tragedies of our time. In the U.S. each year approximately 900,000 children are victims of child abuse or neglect. Each year 1,500 children die at the hand of their abuser. That’s an average of four children each day. The Blanco County Child Protection and Family Advocacy Board is one way this community provides support to children and families in need.
