Have you ever noticed that Jesus often accompanied His teaching with the words, “the one who has ears to hear, let him hear?” Is it possible that there can be some people who could actually sit at the feet of Jesus, the Almighty God in human form, and not be able to actually hear with understanding the words that He was speaking to them? The Bible teaches that people have different experiences in their ability to hear the voice of God.
