Hawaii Chills After Missile Threat
On Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018 a Hawaii emergency management employee sent out a false alarm that put all of the islanders in panic. The emergency alert read, “BALLISTIC MISSILE THREAT INBOUND TO HAWAII. SEEK IMMEDIATE SHELTER. THIS IS NOT A DRILL.” Where do you run when you live on a little island made out of volcanic rock in the middle of the Pacific Ocean? I remember doing ‘bomb drills’ in Elementary School when we lived on Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany.
