Organizers of the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo’s Ambassador Program led 32 people to stops in Blanco Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, including lunch at Old 300 BBQ. The group went on to the Blanco Youth Stock Show at the Fairgrounds in Johnson City, to present the Blanco County FFA programs with $500 toward the sale at the close of the show. Thirty-two San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo’s Ambassador Committee members paid a visit to Blanco Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, to visit the area and have lunch at Old 300 BBQ, 318 Fourth St. The group, which meets to get out and promote the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, tours two to three cities within 65-70 miles of San Antonio to hang up posters and promote the event. “We love coming through Blanco on our way to the Blanco Youth Stock Show,” Jackie Pryor, committee chair said.
