Blanco Volunteer Fire Department answered the call to a familiar location Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017. The location, 481 Rust Ranch Road, was the site of an aggravated assault allegation and an ongoing narcotics investigation the prior week that led to three arrests. At 3:11 p.m., Blanco VFD responded to a fire in progress at the location, initially considered possibly the structure involved in the narcotics investigation. Blanco VFD was first on the scene with an engine and tinder.
