Nearly 300 runners participated in the Real Ale 5K Beer Run, starting and finishing at the brewery, 231 San Saba Ct., ran south through downtown Blanco, by the Blanco River and back to Real Ale early Saturday morning, Dec. 9, 2017. One water stop at the 1.5 mile point was manned by Friends of the Blanco State Park, which received the proceeds from the event.
