The Blanco girls varsity cross country team earned a second place finish and a trip to state competition at the Region IV Cross Country meet on Monday, Oct 23, 2017, at Texas A&M Corpus Christi. At the District 25 meet on Oct 9, 2017, Blanco placed first in team standings, followed by Lago Vista in second.
