Early voting is underway and while there are no local city or county issues up for vote there are seven State propositions on the ballot this year. Proposition 1: Veteran Tax Exemptions A “yes” vote for the first proposition on this year’s ballot would allow the Texas Legislature to provide a tax exemption to partially disabled veterans and their surviving spouses, even if their home was donated to them for less than market value.
