With four runners finishing in the top 10, the Blanco girls varsity cross country team captured the District 25-3A championship on Monday, Oct. 9, 2017, held at Florence High School. Junior Johanna Villarreal blazed the two-mile course with a 12:60.90 1st place finish. Sophomore Steely Steiner crossed the finish line at 12:43.51.
