On a wet field Friday, Sept. 29, 2017, the Varsity Panthers hosted Antonian from San Antonio. Captains for the Panthers Zach Rogers, Tanner Suarez, Paco Vargas, and Brandon Steed as they elected to receive. Rogers kicked off and Walton Daves found his way to the Apache receiver for a devastating tackle that would set the tone for the night.
