Planning and Zoning Commission Tables McClung Request

Members of Blanco’s Planning and Zoning Commission met on July 3 with two members absent—David Smith and Jon Brieger. The first agenda item was a request by Bobby McClung to change zoning at 206 4th Street from its general Residential designation to Mixed Use. As McClung explained, a potential buyer for the 1.8 acre-tract had expressed a desire to use the site for a commercial venture such as a restaurant, gift shop, or country store.
