Joaquin Olmedo, Blanco Boy Scout Troop 497, has earned the highest Rank in Scouting, that of Eagle Scout. On May 7, 2017, an Eagle Scout Court of Honor was held at the Old Blanco Courthouse to present Joaquin as an Eagle Scout, an award only a few Scouts earn. Family, friends and Scouts attended to share in Joaquin’s joy and to wish him well.
