BISD's Financial Accountability Gets Top Grade
When it comes to financial integrity, the Blanco Independent School District is superior. That was the finding of the Texas Education Agency as it evaluated local data from the 2014-15 academic year. “The headline out there is that our rating is superior,” BISD Business Manager Matt Streger told board of education members during their November meeting. Blanco netted 74 out of a possible 100 points.
