BHS Girls Run Their Way to First Place at Corpus Christi Regional
For the second straight year, the Blanco High School girls cross country team punched a ticket to the Class 3A state championship meet after the Panthers captured top honors on Saturday at the Corpus Christi Regional. Blanco accumulated 92 points with its top five runners to top the 24-team field. Runner-up Kingsfield Academy tallied 102 points. “I am so proud of our girls and the effort they gave us,” coach Stuart Schultz said.
