Blanco Courthouse to Go Lavender and Lace on October 8
The Old Blanco County Courthouse in Blanco is having its 26th annual Lavender and Lace Gala from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8. Organizers said the event and the True Grit Poker Tournament that takes place beforehand is the largest fundraiser of the year for the historic structure and is vital to the restoration and maintenance of the facility. The courthouse needs substantial repairs to the roof and interior banisters.
