Planned Housing Development Causes Public Outcry
There was standing room only at the April 4 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, as neighbors living within 200 feet of a planned development on Trainer Street came to air their concerns. If his plans are approved, developer Jim Cook will build 40 homes on a seven-acre tract, a portion of the former McCormick Ranch which would be zoned R-3, or high density.
