Fruity, crisp, clean, uplifting, fresh and enlightening are all adjectives that capture some of the qualities of lavender; however, this amazing flower defies description. Perhaps that is why folks from every corner descend on Blanco each and every year for the Lavender Festival. The event returns this weekend, June 12-14 on the Blanco Square and Yett Memorial Park.
