This weekend was quite different from the norm. We were excited about Memorial Day weekend and our heavy schedule of events, and we count ourselves blessed that we made it home safely. We were out in the heavy rains, driving from Johnson City to Wimberley on Saturday, oblivious to the tornado warnings. Our cell phone had not picked up a tornado warning; we just wanted to get home out of the rain, and the low water crossing one mile from our home prevented us from getting there!
