The members of Blanco's American Legion Post 352 cut ribbon on its new home Friday, Feb. 20. The new facility is located at 111 Blanco Avenue in what was formerly the H&R Block office. It is in the same shopping center as Lowe's Grocery Store. For Post members, it was a day of celebration after having to leave its old home behind Blanco Elementary School on Thirteenth Street, where it had been located since 1937.
