Four-Course Happy Valentine’s Day Dinner at Old 290 Brewery
Saturday, February 13, with seatings at 6 and 8 p.m., and Sunday, February 14, with seatings at 5 and 7 p.m.
Guests at Old 290 Brewery will celebrate a cupid-inspired, four-course dinner created especially for Valentine’s weekend, which includes a choice of savoring dinner with a 5-oz sparkling wine starter and three 3-oz wine pours or four 4-oz beer pours with courses. Live piano music by Ben & Anthony accompanies dinner, and every table comes with a long stem rose.
The dinner starts with a Charcuterie Plate that may be paired with Sparkling Brut or Towhead Blonde. Appetizer choices are Lobster Bisque paired with Plateau White or Ladybird Lager or Bibb Lettuce Salad that may be accompanied by Plateau Rosé or Ekuanot SMASH Pale Ale. The celebratory entrées include Beef Tenderloin with port wine sauce, scallops, shrimp, lobster mac & cheese fritter, Brussels sprouts with pancetta and black truffle butter paired with Plateau White or Ladybird Lager or the Chilean Sea Bass with citrus thyme risotto, roasted heirloom carrots and beurre rouge sauce that may be paired with Viognier or Roadblock Red. For a very sweet dessert, guests are offered Chocolate Torte with brandy cherries and kirsch infused whipped cream with Sparkling Peach or Hell Raiser Bourbon Brown Ale or Strawberry Tart with goat cheese, mascarpone and strawberries with the same suggested pairing.
