Stonewall, Texas – May 18, 2020 – Kuhlman Cellars is pleased to release three 2019 wines to the public: the 2019 Estate Roussanne, the 2019 Estate Rosé, and the 2019 Hensell. The wines were first released to the Vina Vita Wine Club in April. A limited number of cases remain of the stunning 2019 Estate Roussanne, which is explained from vine to glass in a video produced by the Kuhlman Cellars team seen here.
The newly released wines are:
· 2019 Estate Roussanne – ($34) The third harvest of the Kuhlman Cellars estate Roussanne has a white gold color and intense nose of jasmine, honeysuckle, orange blossom, pear, and lemon zest. Big, bold tropical fruit flavors of lychee and green mango characterize this exquisite wine. The well balanced and lingering acidity makes the 2019 Estate Roussanne a perfect pairing with ceviche, tapenade, and tapas. The estate Roussanne only produced 140 cases and isn’t expected to last long past its Vina Vita debut. Buy it here.
· 2019 Estate Rosé – ($29) This delicate rosé is made from estate Carignan and Mourvédre. The strawberry-hued wine tastes like crushed strawberries with a scent of wild violet and summer strawberries. This light and refreshing rosé is perfect with tabbouleh or any picnic food on a hot summer day. Buy it here.
· 2019 Hensell Rosé – ($27) Fans of the 2017 Hensell will be ecstatic to taste the 2019 harvest. This release is lighter in color than a classic Provencal-style rosé. Delicate in the nose with hibiscus, pink apple, and lavender aromas, this rosé is powerful on the palate with perfectly balanced acidity. Buy it here.
