Stonewall, Texas – January 3, 2020 – Kuhlman Cellars will host a Vina Vita University vine pruning class on January 26, 2020 from 11 am – 1 pm. Students will learn about the labor-intensive winegrowing process in both the classroom and the vineyard. Weather-appropriate clothing and walking shoes are recommended for this interactive wine class.

The class is led by Diane Cobb, Kuhlman Cellars Vineyard Manager, as well as Chris Cobb, Kuhlman Cellars co-Founder.

Topics of discussion at this educational event include viticulture terms, annual vine lifecycle, annual vine activity, vine management efforts and goals, and pruning theory. In addition, students will walk the estate vineyard and prune their own vine. Attendees also enjoy the first tasting of the wines made from the Kuhlman Cellars estate harvest. The tasting will include tank samples of the not-yet-bottled the 2019 Estate White, Estate Roussanne and Estate Rose, as well as a barrel sample of the 2018 Hill Country Red. These are the first public tasting opportunities for these new wines.

Tickets are $40 per guest or $30 for Vina Vita Wine Club Members. To purchase tickets, click here.
