Llano’s Women’s Bible Study is hosting a guest speaker and brunch on Wednesday, March 23. The festivities will include delicious food, warm fellowship, and an inspirational message from Janay McDonald Wilborn. All ladies from the community are invited to join us from 9:15 to 11:00 at the Lutie Watkins Memorial Methodist Church in Llano, which is located at 800 Wright Street. Child care is provided for children of all ages.
Janay is a minister, speaker and blogger who is passionate about communicating Biblical truth to adults and students with boldness, honesty and humor so they can clearly understand and apply it to their daily lives. Janay became a Christ-follower at the age of 25 and went into full-time ministry a few years later. She had the incredible blessing of being on staff at Fellowship Church in the Dallas area from 2005 to 2012.
Under the leadership of Pastor Ed and Lisa Young she received her license in ministry while leading singles, students and women. There she discovered her gifts for teaching, writing and speaking.
In 2012 she followed God’s direction to begin speaking full time and has had the privilege of sharing with churches and groups all over the country. Janay earned a BA from Baylor University and received a Masters in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary. She lives in Dallas with her husband and two children. There she enjoys caring for her family, hanging with friends, serving in her home church, writing, reading, shopping and laughing.
All the ladies in our community are invited to attend the brunch at no cost, so please feel welcome to come! Women’s Bible Study is a non-denominational group that meets Wednesdays from 9:15 to 11:00 to study God’s Word. For more information call Pam Durst at 325-247-1407.
