Shirley Ann Hanson (nei Leyk) of Horseshoe Bay, Texas, passed away at her home, on Sunday, March 6, 2016. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 64 years, LeRoy M. Hanson. Her surviving family members include sons Dale and Steve, daughters Linda, Laura, Nancy and June; as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Shirley was born on November 20, 1930 to Margaret and Adam Leyk, in St. Paul, Minnesota. Shirley and husband Roy retired to Horseshoe Bay over 20 years ago. Her family surrounded her as she joined the Lord and her husband. Shirley was an accomplished homemaker and much beloved of her children and will be sorely missed.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 11:00 am at The Church of Horseshoe Bay.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to The Church of Horseshoe Bay, Roy and Shirley’s loving faith community.
